Nicholas G. ★★★★★

The achievements system completely changed how I plan my turns — I'm actually thinking about landmarks from the first round now instead of just chasing points. The revised civilizations also fix some of the runaway leaders from the base game, which my group noticed immediately.

Owen ★★★★★

The achievements add a nice solo goal to chase, and I actually prefer the revised civilizations over the originals. The sneaky interaction cards also make the table talk way more fun than the base game alone.

Steven Q. ★★★★★

The revised civilizations feel noticeably more balanced than the base game, and I love how the individual achievements push you toward a different strategy every match. Sneaking in a ploy to mess with a rival’s plan mid-game is such a satisfying twist.
