展翅翱翔

The nesting mechanic with eggs is so satisfying once you get a good engine going, and the rulebook has clear examples that made learning easy. I've already played three times this week.

The card-driven engine-building clicks together so smoothly, and the way each bird's abilities chain off each other keeps every round tense and satisfying. Even with five players it moves briskly, right around the hour mark for us, which is rare for this weight of game.

I've played about a dozen rounds solo and with friends, and the way the birdfeeder dice tower randomizes the food each turn keeps every round feeling fresh. The 40-minute playtime is pretty accurate once you've got the rules down, and it's the perfect weight for a game night.
