These 100 speckled eggs (10 egg tokens in 10 different color combinations) showcase some of the beautiful eggs created by birds of the world. The speckled eggs are now made of wood instead of plastic. They are aesthetically and functionally identical to the original eggs.
I swapped out the cardboard egg tokens for these wooden ones and the difference is honestly night and day on the table. Ten different color combos means each player's eggs are easy to tell apart even from across the board. They fit the egg slots perfectly, no wobbling.
The wooden eggs have a nice weight to them that the old cardboard ones never did, and they slide around the tray without tipping. Ten of each color combo is plenty for a full game even with the expansion birds.
Ten different color combos means the egg colors actually stand out on the board instead of blending together. The wood has a nice weight to it, way better than the flimsy cardboard ones I had before.
