1 full deck of Automa cards to simulate an AI opponent. This is targeted towards solo gamers who want to play against more than one Automa, as the core game of Scythe already includes 1 deck of 31 cards. The deck of cards may also include 23 objective cards (they're redundant, but they're sometimes shrinkwrapped together with the Automa cards).
Playing two Automa at once finally feels balanced instead of clunky, and having that full second deck of cards means no more reshuffling mid-game. Solo Scythe nights got a lot more interesting.
Second Automa deck was exactly what my solo games needed, and the cards match the original set perfectly so there's no confusion mid-turn. Setup takes a bit longer with two AI opponents, but watching them fight each other makes it worth it.
Running two Automa opponents finally makes solo Scythe feel like a real multiplayer table, and this second deck slots right in with the one from the core box. The cards shuffle cleanly and the iconography matches, so I never had to double-check which deck a card came from.
